I was fortunate enough to get to work on a big variety of main and NPC characters for Naughty Dog's 'The Last of Us'. I was asked to be the Lead Character Artist after defining both the main characters Joel and Ellie, as well as helping the team in the creation and planning of making the enemy NPCs whilst working to strict technical limitations.
It was great to push my skill-set within the development process and get to work on characters for a post-apocalyptic art style, yet still try to have them grounded in realism. These are the high-resolution sculpts that I created based on the direction, and they were all hand made with no scanning or photo sourcing used.
